District Public School & College Depalpur started its journey in April, 2006 in a small block of Govt. High School Boys Depalpur. Establishment of DPS & College Depalpur was the cherished dream and desire of its founder Muhammad Aslam Kamboh, which became a reality on 4th April, 2006.

This dream came true by the grace of Allah Almighty and due the untiring efforts of its founder Muhammad Aslam Kamboh. In 2012 the college classes started after the great struggle of its Pioneer Principal Mrs. Shazia Khizar Hayat. It is her desire to develop advance and quality education in rural area. It is flourishing on a scenic sight, it has lush green grounds, and pollution free atmosphere all around from which gentle winds flow across the campus all the time. It is innovative institution where students learn in a most pleasant and creative environment, using all the technological marvels of modern science and technology.

Taking advantage of its 23-Acre campus, College is well equipped with all major kinds of sports activities. Compulsory participation in games has been a strong tradition. The physical development and good health of students are part of good college. Games are supervised and there are regular opportunities to play formal matches and other competitions within and outside the College.
